Dr. Pilar Nos, MD, PhD 

Dr. Pilar Nos is the Head of the Digestive Medicine Department at the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe and leader of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Group at the Health Research Institute La Fe (IIS La Fe). She was recently recognized as the second most prestigious professional in Spain in her specialty, according to the Healthcare Reputation Monitor (MRS) prepared by Merco.

A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia (1986), she earned her Ph.D. in Medicine in 1996. Throughout her career, she has continued to expand her training, earning a Master's degree in Clinical Management from UNED in 2010 and an Expert Certificate in Clinical Management and Leadership from ESADE in 2012 and 2014. Additionally, she has served as a lecturer in various editions of courses offered by the Valencian School of Health Studies, as well as in several doctoral programs. Currently, she is a professor in the Master's in Autoimmune Diseases program at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the AEG-GETECCU Master's program.

In the field of research, Dr. Nos has participated in over 50 clinical trials, acting as Principal Investigator (PI) in 20 of them. She has also been a regular reviewer for ISCIII in projects under the FIS program, serving as PI or Co-PI in over 10 projects. From 2016 to 2021, she was editor of the journal Gastroenterología y Hepatología and continues to be a regular reviewer for several scientific journals.

With an outstanding scientific output, Dr. Nos has published more than 200 articles indexed in PubMed, with contributions in internationally renowned journals such as Gastroenterology, Gut, Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and the Journal of Crohn and Colitis. In 2023, she ranked first in the Healthcare Reputation Monitor and second in 2024. She has also served as President of GETECCU, one of the leading scientific societies in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases.
