Official presentation of the San Silvestre Popular 2023 in IIS La Fe

The auditorium of the IIS La Fe was the venue for the presentation of the 38th edition of the San Silvestre Popular de València to be held on 30 December. The event was attended by the Councillor for Sports of the Valencia City Council, Rocío Gil; the Director General of Research and Innovation of the Regional Ministry of Health, Mariola Penadés; the manager of the Hospital Universitari i Poltècnic La Fe, José Luís Poveda Andrés; the scientific director of the IIS La Fe, Guillermo Sanz, the regional director of Communication, Sustainability and Institutional Relations of El Corte Inglés in the Valencia Region, Pau Pérez Rico; the president of the Sociedad Deportiva Correcaminos, Paco Borao and, representing all those who suffer from rare diseases, Noah Higón.

As every year, the San Silvestre of Valencia will start in Xàtiva Street and finish in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento on 30 December. From 4 December, anyone who wishes to do so can purchase their number in the sports shops of El Corte Inglés, one of the sponsors of this race. The race also has a solidarity aspect: the euro that the race bib costs will go entirely to the IIS La Fe, giving special visibility in this edition to rare diseases.
