The objectives of the area are oriented to the generation of scientific knowledge and clinical applicability to solve fertility problems and to improve the probabilities and conditions of patients to achieve the goal of paternity and maternity. From the mother-child field, the objectives are to optimize the process of the neonatal fetal transition in patients of all ages of gestation, especially focused on the newborn with intrapartum asphyxia and the extreme premature as more vulnerable subjects.
