Management Areas

Innovation /Biopolo

Its mission is to promote the culture of innovation, identifying, channelling and valuing innovative initiatives and/or research results of the La Fe Health Research Institute. The Area serves as a link between its Research Groups and the rest of the agents of the Science-Technology-Business System, promoting the transfer of knowledge to guarantee the improvement of patient care. The Area manages the Biopolo La Fe acceleration program, with the aim of promoting the best health initiatives in the clinical validation or proof of concept phase.

Tasks

  1. Management, valorization and transfer of research results.
  2. IPR (Industrial and Intellectual Property Rights) management.
  3. Promotion and Management of Collaborative Innovation (UPV, UV, Reddit)
  4. Coordination and development of the Scientific Unit for Business Innovation (UCIE) of the IIS La Fe.
  5. Promotion and support in the drafting of proposals for Innovation calls: AVI, ISCIII-DTS, Ministry-Challenges collaboration with companies, international projects, etc.
  6. Coordination of the R&D Management System / UNE 166.002 Standard.
  7. Promotion and business development of the Biopolo Program and the Scientific-Technological Platforms.
  8. Coordination and development of the Scientific Unit for Business Innovation (UCIE) of the IIS La Fe, promoted by the Valencian Agency for Innovation (AVI).
